Meet Steph

I am a therapist rooted in the belief that connection is what ultimately gives our lives meaning. For me, this work and the ability to connect with each of you is what gives my life meaning. I am committed to creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients are invited to come into themselves and gently explore their own truths.

Therapy is an opportunity to meet oneself with curiosity and care, to uncover meaning that is uniquely personal, and to find grounding amid life’s inevitable complexities. I strive to walk alongside clients as they navigate their experiences—messy, profound, and deeply human—offering presence and support rather than prescriptions.

If there is a part of your story that feels unseen or untold, this is a place where you can be met without judgment and begin to hear your own voice. You are not alone here.

Past Chapters

I stepped into the world of therapy with a diverse professional background, know as what I call "chapters".

In university I refused to choose between Psychology and Business.. so I did both. I am curious by nature, a life long learner.. and an authentic and unapologetic "try hard". I care a lot about a lot of things!

I held a decade long professional career, where I worked as a marketing leader at global organizations, "my first love". I led teams of high performers and had the opportunity to pitch to some of the world’s top brands. That fast-paced environment, driven by relentless demands, brought me face to face with the reality of burnout, aloneness and the balance of passion, perfectionism and presence. This longing came alongside a calling for my "next love", therapy.

Over these years, I came to a fragile but profound acceptance of my own humanity; Life is finite. My journey has also been shaped by my experiences with illness, both as a caregiver and as a patient, deepening my understanding of vulnerability, resilience, and the complexities inherent in healing.

These insights continue to inform my compassionate approach to supporting others as they navigate their own challenges.

How do I choose a therapist?

What is therapy with me like?

People describe me as being easy to talk to, patient, warm and someone who can weave together threads of what you share with tools and new skills in a way that feels helpful and empowering. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation, which is sometimes deep, sometimes lighthearted, and always human, meaning I am empathetic, will look for your strengths and provide a space for you to be with your whole unfiltered self. My focus is on helping you reconnect with your values, believe in your strengths, know your weaknesses, and develop skills and tools to make meaningful steps toward a life that feels true to you.

Steph as a Therapist

I work with individuals and couples with an evidence-based, personalized, and direct approach.

I am a licensed professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I hold a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology.

Before becoming a counsellor, I spent over a decade in fast-paced senior leadership roles in tech and consulting. Along the way, I experienced my own struggles, curveballs, including a journey with cancer, which deeply shaped my understanding of life’s unpredictability, fragility and strength. These experiences, alongside my work in crisis response, high-performance sport, and executive leadership, have given me deep respect for how people adapt and grow through life’s struggles. I believe making space to reflect on our past and current experiences helps create a more conscious, balanced, and meaningful future. I strive to offer every client a supportive, non-judgmental, and compassionate experience focused on their goals.

Outside the clinic, I find grounding through doing pottery, collecting new hobbies, travelling, and any form of fitness or movement. I am honoured to be married. I have a deep curiosity for the human experience and a soft spot for underdogs.

If my approach resonates with you, I’d love to connect.
